When I look at this picture I think of the sky, stars and the woods. What describes this picture is the shine of the stars, the beautiful trees and last the wonderful smoke that shines thru the sky. What makes me be attracted to the picture is the theme, it makes me feel like if I once was in the woods with the beautiful stars cooking dinner and the smell wondering thru the woods. That's all I have to say about this picture.
The book that I read was about a haunted house in a little town in Duston,Arizona. No one would want to rent the house because everybody in the town knew that the house was haunted, one day the Landlord tries renting it for FREE and Elenas's father wants to get the Free Rent, but he wants it because he doesn't believe in ghosts so finally at last Elena's grandmother helps her figure out what to do because she knows how to deal with ghosts, and she has learned a Ghost fever lesson.
What I liked about this book was: That it creeps you out a lot if you are reading it alone and also that the story is very scary to me. There is nothing that I didn't like about the book.
I recommend this to my whole class, specially the ones who believe in ghosts. You can get this book at Ms.Estrada's Library or at the Austin Public Library.

El Dia De La Virgen
El dia de la Virgen is very important to me because she is the one who saved my life and the one of the people who takes care of me everyday. The other reason why she is very important to me is because when I was born I was sick , I was in the risk of dying, so my family prayed, also my dad took me to Torrecitas that’s where the Virgin is located at in San Luis Potosi , Mexico. So my dad took me there and told here “Virgen De Guadalupe por favor salvame a mi Nina y te prometo que cuando se alivie te la traire para que la veas” and after that I was alive!!!!! I was saved by her Thanks A Lot Virgencita I love you!!!!! She is the reason why I am here and always happy. My mom was going to name me Guadalupe because I was born the day before the Day of the Virgen, at exactly 11:50 p.m just 1o minutes away from being el dia de la virgen.
What I know about Earth Day is that: Earth Day was invented in California on the date of April 22, 1970. Earth Day is all about knowing what's wrong with our Earth and spreading the word to help out because we still want to live.
The things that I do to help protect the Earth is that: I recycle plastic bags, plastic containers, paper and glass jars because I wanna help and I still want to live and keep our Earth clean and clear.
What I do at school to save the Earth is that our school planted a garden at the front of our school and planted flowers, vegetables, herbs and some other things too. We water them everyday well not everyday but yes because we want to reduce the waste of water, we never want to go out of water.
What I will always do on Earth Day is that I will try my best to spread the word to everyone and tell them to help save the earth by using the three R'S Reuse, Reduce and Recycle !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I am a very smiley girl! and I like that because that's what makes me do my job and my job is coming to school and learn.
Almost everything makes me smile. First of all the number one person that makes me smile is my grandma because she is the greatest sweetest grandma ever, she cares for me, she loves me and she is the best, she also makes me smile and laugh because of her sweet smell and smile.
The other special person that makes me smile is my little baby cousin: Delanee she is so cute and laughable so that's why she is always there to make me smile.
At last the people who also make me smile are my teachers and friends at school. They make me laugh because, 1st of all they are my friends and they are smiley, teachers because they are always there for me to help me in everything, specially Dr.Cantu is the one who always makes me smile a lot because of her nice greetings and things that she says to me also because she is the best Principal I have ever met.
Some other things that make me smile are: Electronics because I love technology, whenever I see them It makes me so happy that I really want to have them or use them.
My favorite food Arroz Con Leche is the one that will always make me smile because of course DUH! It's my favorite food and I love it, the things that make me smile about Arroz Con Leche is the white pure rice that can make me sweet.
Some other stuff that make me smile are cool glittery pens and markers, they make me smile because they are awesome and glittery, I can use them for decorating my schoolwork and makes it awesome. I am almost forgetting the important people that also make me smile are: My best friends Ana and Ashley, they always make me smile because they are always there for me and they love me as I love them. (*ALL THE STUFF AND PERSONS THAT MAKE ME SMILE, MAKES ME HAPPY*)
I don't really feel happy or excited about spring. I feel kind of unhappy because I am not really that kind of spring person, I am mostly a cold weather person because I don't like the hotness or sunniness because sometimes I get sun burned and I definitely don't like that!!!! I hate that.
The thing that I like about spring Is the sounds, when I mean the sounds: I mean the beautiful birds whistling or making an awesome relaxing sound.
The other thing that I like about spring Is that the beauty of Austin comes out, I see the colorful flowers and the greenest trees ever.
The other thing that I like about spring is that I like the smell of the awesome fresh nature from the gardens, flowers and grass yards.
The other thing that I like about spring is that I like to touch the softness of the flowers and the wet trees also the wetness of the grass.
The other thing that I like about spring Is that my mom makes these wonderful appetizers or snacks when spring comes: some of the recipes she does is some cool and tasty Popsicles) some crackers with cheese and other good appetizers.

I was at school when someone made me feel special.
It was the last day of school for the month of December.
I was celebrating an awesome party for the winter break.
Well everything was going great and It was almost the end of the day at school because we were being dismissed early.
Suddenly the teacher's said It was time to say goodbye and leave school so I decided to get ready for a surprise that they had for us and to say goodbye to all my friends.
After that I was ready to leave, I was just waiting for my parents to come pick me up. Then I saw my mom coming in the car and said, "hey come on Arlette we have to leave" and I said but mom "I need to bring in the DJ LIGHTS". So my History Teacher) Mr. Brafford was there and he said 'don't worry sweety I'll go get them for you and I said thanks Mr.Brafford you are so nice. Then after I had gotten In the car he told my mom, grandpa and grandma that I was such an angel, he said that I was great and awesome, that day he made me feel so special that I even started to become more better. I really like Mr.Brafford, he is very nice with me. That's the time I felt so special at EACPA.
